Dispersion hardened platinum

A new efficient construction material with high temperature resistance and refractoriness in the oxidizing atmosphere and in oxide melts.

Areas of application:

  • Glass crucibles;
  • Auxiliaries for glass melting (shields, mixers, etc.)

GINALMAZZOLOTO manufactures dispersion hardened platinum and associated products. A technology for production of this material, which has been developed by the Institute's scientists, provides a tenfold lower solubility in oxide melts and a higher operating resistance of the fabricated items, as compared to ordinary platinum.

This material gives lower platinum wear during the operating life of the fabricated items.
